Paid Family and Medical Leave

As of January 1, 2020, Washington employees who have worked 820 hours or more in the qualifying period and experienced a qualifying event have access to Paid Family and Medical Leave.

School Employee Benefits Board (SEBB)

As an employee of Port Townsend School District, you may be eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits through the SEBB program.  In addition, you may participate in a flexible benefit plan, short term disability, and life insurance.  You are also covered by the District's self-funded worker's compensation program.

Benefit Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment is set for the fall of each year and is conducted through the
SEBB [School Employee Benefits Board] website.  Dates for the fall 2023 open
enrollment period:

October 30, 2023 - November 20, 2023

All coverage is effective Jan 1st of each year.

    Washington State Deferred Compensation Program (DCP):

    The Washington State Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) is a supplemental retirement savings program (an IRC Section 457 plan) that offers you the opportunity to invest money toward securing the retirement you envision.  DCP offers you an excellent opportunity to enhance your financial future through pre- tax deductions.  For additional information please click on the link below.

    403(b) Plan:

    TSA Consulting Group, Inc, (TSACG) is the Third Party Administrator for Port Townsend School District's 403(b) plan.  TSACG provides a variety of services to the district that relate to compliance and administration of the 403(b) plan.  In December 2020, TSACG integrated with US OMNI and rebranded as US OMNI & TSACG Compliance Services.

    You first contact your financial advisor and establish an account with the company you want to invest with, then complete a Salary Reduction Agreement.  Return the agreement to the Payroll Office.  Salary Reduction Agreements are available through the TSACG website.  Deferrals to your account are pre-taxed.  For more information connect to the link listed:
