Reopening Planning Update July 27:

The school district is continuing to monitor the progress of the virus in our county and state, and is working closely with our local health department through the summer.  We know many larger districts have announced that they will start the fall with online learning only.  PT Schools Reopening Committee will begin meeting again the first week of August, and we will share the Reopening Plan 2.0 based on the latest data and our collective decision making by August 17.

We are reviewing the family survey data that has been submitted in order to best understand which families prefer a hybrid model with some face-to-face class time and who would prefer online only.  Families who have not yet completed the survey in Skyward may do so at https://www2.wrdc.wa-k12.net/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wporttos71/seplog01.w
The last day to take the survey will be Friday, July 31.

We are aware that families need information to plan to address decisions about schooling and childcare.  During these challenging times we appreciate that families are under tremendous tress with so many unknowns and rapidly changing decisions.  We appreciate families' patience, the feedback they have shared, and look forward to partnering with them this coming school year.  We care greatly about the health and safety of all our students and staff.

School will begin again on September 8th and how it will look is dependent upon the public health data of Jefferson County.  We all need to do all we can to stop the spread of this virus.
